I powered this on as shown in the pictures. This monitor takes a few minutes to 'warm up' as there is a roll near the bottom of the display for a few minutes and there is a 'burn-in' on the CRT and the display is stretched tall near the top and compressed shorter near the bottom; see pictures for details. System powers on and works in the capacity as outlined.
