METTLER TOLEDO DO308 KARL FISCHER DRYING OVEN FOR VOLUMETRIC COULOMETRIC V30

The METTLER TOLEDO DO308 drying oven is the ideal accessory for the METTLER TOLEDO volumetric or coulometric Karl Fischer titrators. It allows easy and accurate water determination of solid or viscous samples like:

• Substances that release water only at elevated temperatures such as plastics in powder or granular form
• Substances that cause side reactions with Karl Fischer reagent such as oxidizing inorganic salts
• Substances that cause problems in the titration vessel due to their consistency such as fibrous or pasty substances
• Substances that are poorly soluble or insoluble such as wool, dough, tar or coal

The front tube on the left side of the oven glass sheared off, it could be possible to repair the component if you know a glass worker. The system was tested and heated when set at 150 oC to 140.6 oC; when set at 299 oC it heated to 292.9 oC. The broken glass component prevents the system from full operation, without that being repaired it is offered here for parts only.
